This project was another completely bespoke one-off project which resulted in another beautiful high-end finish and a completely one-off design. Our client wanted a bespoke pool pavilion which would be suitable for parties and relaxing, with many mod-cons. There was absolutely no room for error, and every detail required very careful planning from the beginning right through to completion.

We built a large pool house party room next to an outdoor swimming pool. This was a piled construction, heavily tanked with a large steel frame. We installed star-tiled floor with up lighters cutting through the stone and solid oak skirting boards. The roof was a detailed dome-type plastered bowel, with a central wooden cupola fitted in the centre of the roof, fitted with a rain-censored opening. The roof was made of huge ply arch formers fixed with around 120,000 screws, bonded and then skimmed to create the smooth finish. This joined a large plaster cornice finished in white, with tape LED lighting hidden on the top inside edge.

The outside walls were brick corbelled, recessed courses with Ashlar Plinths and slate capping, Ashlar Roman style columns finished with Oak Timber Pagoda style roof, and Heritage Alumasc powder coated gutters and downpipes.

Our contractors Hayles and Howe used this project as an example at the London Plastering awards, which was a very proud moment. Our client was extremely happy with the finished result.
